MOVEMENT TO END FGM – Day 1

A keynote address was delivered by MR. IBRAHIM SESAY, CHIEF, child protection section UNICEF Nigeria.

It is the responsibility of government and everyone to implement forces against FGM having ZERO CASE.

Overview of FGM situation analysis: at national and in Osun, Oyo and Ekiti state delivered by MR. BENJAMIN MBAKWEM, Technical Expert and Consultant UNICEF.

Once the prevalence is high at grassroot, firstly identify the source. Irrespective of education, people carry out the practice due to self reason or traditional reasons. Religion leaders should be involved to go against FGM.
